Hello there. As you know, this forum is beginning to grow. So we think it's time for a contest. Do you?

We'd like to know what kind of contest you'd all like, please be original. I am going to have some up as an example, but if you'd like to state your opinion we'd like that.

Pixel Contest
Drawing Contest
Digital Contest
Graphic Contest (Banners, Icons etc)
Designer Contest (forum icon etc)

We'd love to hear your ideas!

I think we should have a drawing contest

Awesome! Does anybody else have any opinions on what contests we should have in the future/now?

Graphic contests since I have a feeling that we'll end up getting more graphic designers here in the future.

Trust me, we're not getting any more graphic designers. We're still debating if we want to get the one we've been talking about.

Does anyone else want to share their opinion?

No, as in regular forum members who make graphics, I'm sorry if my wording didn't come out right.

Oh, that's okay. Yes, we might have some help but we're debating if they SHOULD help. Otherwise there's nothing to fret about.

As for the contests, anybody?

As i said before drawing is good because a majority of users on here like to draw

I'l third that. also, if we do that i would like traditional. i literally suck at digital. can't even draw a circle right. :l
I think the theme should be food or anything edible.

The drawing theme should be traditional since not everyone has a tablet,
(i don't have a tablet sobs///)

If it is traditional,it needs to be taken with a great light source a nice spacy room so we don't see pencils etc in on/ where ever you are.Also,I HIGHLY agree you put your name/signature on the bottom of the page.

Just a heads up,I'LL be writing the topic and I'll write contestants so on.

it would be cool if we had a contest with something a lot of people don't have experience with, so nobody would have an unfair advantage. plus it would be fun to try new things.

also if we're drawing a drawing contest please don't make the theme "draw an anime girl" i will explode

I don't think it should be only traditional or only digital, can't we just do both? Some people like using the computer to draw, others don't.

@cow I agree. I like to draw anime style but making the theme "an anime girl" would be completely ridiculous since not everyone likes anime

yeah especially since that theme's been used 500 times over

also i agree with you because honestly neither traditional nor digital art is better than the other so i don't see why there should be a traditional contest or a digital contest.

Yea that theme is used way too often. I see it everywhere. Its kinda over used

Maybe we should have two diffrent categorys for it: Traditonal, Digital
Or
We can both have traditonal and digital

a drawing contest where you can do any style, and either traditional or digital where you draw whatever you want

i think that since just about everyone wants a drawing contest we should start with that. but we shouldn't be making all the contests related to visuals, we should have writing and scavenger hunt contests too.
